Consumer Confidence Index of India (CCI) shows how typical urban consumers feel about the current economy and its prospects, and hence how likely they are to spend.

Consumer confidence is a key driver of economic growth and is widely considered a leading economic indicator of household spending on consumption. In economies such as India and the US personal consumption accounts for the majority of GDP and its growth. Measuring it can provide critical insights into the economy’s growth prospects.

BluFin works with TNS, the world’s largest custom market research company, to collect data for CCI by conducting random face–to–face interviews of 4,000 people across a representative mix of 18 Indian urban centres.
